The Yes Diet is a calorie-deficit plan where we've done the counting for you. It's all about balance - nutritious Power Plates which speed up weight loss and boost metabolic rate and enjoyable Pleasure Plates - so you lose weight while staying happy and satisfied. Plus, you'll get TUC (Top Up Calories) for extra treats like coffee, sauces, or snacks.
All Plates are calorie-counted by using the following formula:
Power + Pleasure Breakfasts - 300 kcal
Power + Pleasure Lunch- 400 kcal
Power + Pleasure Dinner- 500 kcal
The Yes Diet also combats the top 10 reasons why women in the UK find it hard to diet using Plate Codes (symbols on each recipe)
- No time to diet: follow the 'quick + easy' Plate code
- Can't afford to diet: follow the 'budget-friendly' Plate code
- Can't work around family meals: follow the 'family friendly' Plate code
- I have hormone issues: all Power Plates are nutritionally made to balance female hormones
- I don't want to exercise: use the 'minimal activity' option when calculating calories
- I have binge eating disorder: restriction is the top cause of binge eating; the use of Pleasure Plates and your TUC will reduce this as this allows you not to restrict any foods
